USE THE FORM ON THE LEFT TO ASK ANY INFORMATION REGARDING REPAP.

  • WHAT COMPONENTS COMPOSE REPAP?

Repap is made up of 80% calcium carbonate (CaCO) and a small percentage, 20%, from non-toxic resins (high intensity polyethylene).

The calcium carbonate present in Repap comes from the limestone recovered from caves and used in the construction industry. The Calcium carbonate is reduced to a fine powder and the polyethylene acts as a binder, creating Repap, a resistant and durable, as well as a waterproof paper. A paper that is also soft, smooth, bright white, resistant like a film but without the use of substances derived from petroleum.

  • WHAT PROCESS IS CARRIED OUT TO CREATE REPAP?

Repap is created through a "clean" manufacturing process that does not use water nor emits toxic agents in the air. Repap doesn't contain chlorine or acids, and it is respectful of the environment in which we live in. In fact, its production does not contribute to air and water pollution, it emits very little carbon emissions and it does not use bleaching chemicals.

  • WHY USE REPAP PAPER?

Because Repap is a completely tree-free paper as its created from stone, and it is an optimal choice for anyone who wants to help preserve the precious carbon resources of the environment: our trees. And because it is a paper with unique performance: it is beautiful and soft touch, it does not cut and it is more resistant than traditional paper. Thanks to its unique composition, it dries much faster thus decreasing the consumption of ink.

Repap is waterproof, hence resistant to any weather condition, and this attributes a greater durability to products made with Repap.

  • REPAP CAN BE RECYCLED?

Yes, it can be recycled into other Repap paper, plastic materials, materials for the construction industry, the metallurgical industry, agriculture, and for glass manufacturing.
